The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) is gearing up for a significant event as the Kyabazinga birthday celebrations approach.
Representing FUFA, Executive Secretary Isabirye Ronnie Kalema announced plans to promote talent in Busoga Region during a press conference today.
Scheduled for 14th December 2024, the celebrations will feature a dinner at the head offices of the kingdom and then a friendly match on 15th December between the Uganda Cranes and Busoga United which counts the Kyabazinga as its patron.
The event will also have the finals of the Busoga Masaza Cup showcasing the best local football talent.
Isabirye Ronnie Kalema emphasised FUFA’s commitment to supporting grassroots initiatives and developing football in the region. “Our aim is to promote talent in Busoga through our various programs,” he stated.
Uganda Cranes will feature on the final day of the Busoga Masaza Cup for the first time ever which is a massive birthday gift to Busoga, being a home of football talent.
