Futsal Super League leaders Crown Lubiri and on-form Mengo City seeking to maintain form against Kisenyi FC and Kabowa Dream Team on Friday, 27th December 2024 at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Crown Lubiri overcame high-intensive challenges where they managed to win three table-leading clashes. This time it seems that the pressure is a beat down facing Kisenyi FC, a side which is off and on this season.

Stretching back from the beginning of the league, Crown Lubiri is the only side which is yet to lose a game after seven outings played, leaving them on top of the table.

Kisenyi FC, on the other hand, is a mid-table team this season with three wins, one draw and three losses, living shorter than their form last season.

Despite the struggling form, Kisenyi FC receives much from Illias Omran who sits second on the top scorers chart with 12 goals behind leader Abbas Muluya of Park FC who has 15.

To be top of the table, Crown has got much from Muhammad Muhamud, Abukar Kulane and Muhammad Abdinasir keeping the newcomers in fine form.

Speaking on the game Crown Lubiri Coach Najeeb Abdulrazak said; “It is the same game as any other game we have played, we are looking to replicate our performance and continue winning matches.”

On the back of the outstanding form in recent weeks of the Futsal Super League, Mengo City is looking to continue fine form against Kabowa Dream team.

With 17 goals in the last two games, while conceding 3 all of which came in the last game having kept a clean sheet in their second last game, the form has guided them to third place on 16 points which is 3 behind Leaders Crown Lubiri.

Mengo City’s form has been fueled by Sharif Opuuli, Farouk Tumwesigye and Abdul Karim Tebela while Kabowa Dream team who have been facing a slopping form just returned to winning ways in the last outing with a 1-0 over QC Mbarara.
