Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) will be keen on ascending to the apex of Group F of the 2022 Pepsi University Football League when they host Bugema University in Mbale tomorrow.
IUIU are at the moment the Group runners-up just a point adrift of Bugema while Busitema University are third with a single point, with all teams having played two games.
According to the IUIU coach Haruna Kebba, the tie against Bugema is a must win if they are to have any chance of qualifying to the next level of the competition.
“We are playing from home and that means we shall have full support from our fans and I believe it is a must win game for us,” he told the press on Friday.
“One team goes through and looking at the table if we win we shall go on top of the group and that will give us confidence going into the last game.”
“Bugema is a strong side who defeated us in the reverse fixture at their home but I believe in my boys to avenge the result,” Kebba added.
The first leg encounter between the two teams ended 2-0 in favor of Bugema and they will also be hoping for a win to seal the top spot.
