Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named a final 16 man traveling team to a four-day camp in Tunisia as they prepare to take on Algeria in the AFCON qualifiers.

UK based players, Ibrah Sekajja, Nathan Odokonyero, and Tirhys Luknyomoi who feature for Dulwich Harmlet FC, Bognor Regis FC, and AFC Port Chester FC respectively, and goalkeeper Giouse Bellagambi of Huddersfield Town were all omitted.

The team will camp in Tunisia to acclamatise with the weather in North Africa, before they finally set off for Oran, Algeria.

The match against the latter is on June 4 before they face Niger four days later at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Four players including Moses Aliro, Najib Yiga, Denis Otim and Rogers Mato have all been directed to keep in the local camp at Kisasi Paradise Hotel, as they ready themselves for Niger.

Eight foreign based players Bevis Mugabi, Allan Okello, Allan Kyambadde, Elvis Bwomono, Aucho Khalid, Abdu Aziz Kayondo, Derrick Kakooza and Steven Serwadda will join the squad in Tunisia.

Goalkeepers: Charles Lukwago, Nafian Alionzi

Defenders: Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Halid Lwaliwa, Isaac Muleme, Enoch Walusimbi, Musa Ramathan, James Begisa Penz, Abdu Aziz Kayondo, Bevis Mugabi, Elvis Bwomono.

Midfielders: Bobosi Byaruhanga, Marvin Joseph Youngman, Steven Serwadda, Khalid Aucho, Allan Okello.

Forwards: Milton Karisa, Martin Kizza, Faruku Miya, Emmanuel Okwi, Joseph Fahad Bayo, Muhammad Shaban, Derrick Kakooza, Allan Kyambadde.
