Former Wakiso Giants FC duo of Ibrahim Kasule and Frank Ssebufu were yet again brilliant for their side, New York Red Bulls II as they beat Cincinnati FC early on Monday.
The two youngsters scored a goal apiece as New York Red Bulls II beat Cincinnati 3-1 at home turf, the MSU Soccer Park.
Ssebufu scored 30 seconds into the game with a header off Copeland Berkeley‘s cross to give his side a fast start.
On the other hand, Kasule netted five minutes to the half-hour mark, with a trademark left-footed effort into the top right corner.
The 19-year-old playmaker also made an assist for Davi Alexandre in the 40th minute to make it two-goal involvements, extending his excellent run.
He now has nine goal involvements in only 13 matches, which includes five goals that have all come in the past six games for the New York City outfit.
For starters, Kasule and Ssebufu both weren’t summoned for national team duty as Uganda Cranes lost 2-1 to Algeria in the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
