Only a few weeks since walking separate ways with Mbarara City FC as head coach, versed gaffer Sadiq Ssempigi is back in a similar role at Jinja North United.
Ssempigi has been appointed at the FUFA Big League outfit on a two-year deal, that will have him at the side at least till 2025.
Guiding Jinja North to the Uganda Premier League tops his tasks.
Last season, they failed to make the feat as they made the 10th place on the 16-team log as they collected just 39 points in 30 games.
Ssempigi will feel he’s indeed the right person for the job, as he comes with the experience of achieving a similar feat with Mbarara City, having led them to a return to the league.
He has since left Mbarara after the two parties decided against renewing his contract as it had expired.
At the moment, the coach also serves as the head coach for Busoga Province in the ongoing 2023/24 FUFA Drum.
