Plascon powered Vipers SC have finally ended weeks of speculation by confirming the signing of Uganda Cranes midfielder Joel Sserunjogi from Uganda Premier League rivals KCCA FC on a three year contract.
The 24 year old joins the reigning champions after the expiry of his contract at Lugogo, becoming one of the biggest signings of the 2026/27 transfer window and an early statement of intent from the Kitende club.
Sserunjogi arrives with a reputation as one of the league’s most complete midfielders. His relentless work rate, composure on the ball and ability to control games have made him a standout performer over the last three seasons.
His signing is another major boost for new head coach Denis Lavagne, who is shaping a squad capable of defending the Uganda Premier League title, challenging for the Uganda Cup and making a stronger impression in the CAF Champions League.
