KCCA FC have made their first move in the transfer market, signing midfielder Elvis Ngonde from SC Villa ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Lugogo-based side confirmed the midfielder’s arrival on Monday through their official social media platforms, welcoming him with the message: “The wait is over. A new chapter begins today. Welcome to the badge, Elvis Ngonde.”

Ngonde joins the Kasasiro Boys as they begin rebuilding their midfield following the departures of Joel Sserunjogi who is expected to join Champions Vipers and youngster Brian Jjara, whose contracts expired at the end of last season.

The move offers the midfielder a fresh start after a frustrating campaign at SC Villa, where he struggled for regular playing time. Ngonde made 18 appearances during the 2025/26 season, with most coming from the bench.

He becomes KCCA’s first signing of the current transfer window as the club looks to strengthen after finishing second in the Uganda Premier League and falling at the quarter-final stage of the Uganda Cup.
