Startimes Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC and Kampala Queens FC have entered into a three-year partnership to meet the CAF licensing requirements for men’s teams to have women’s teams.

The partnership will start on July 1, 2023 and run until June 30, 2026.

Under the agreement, KCCA FC will take Kampala Queens as its sole women’s team, and Kampala Queens will equally take KCCA FC as its sole men’s team for all official engagements, including FUFA, CAF, and FIFA competitions.

The FUFA Women Super League champions, Kampala Queens, will retain their brand identity, but they will use MTN Omondi Stadium as their official home ground.

The partnership will also see KCCA FC provide technical support and knowledge exchange to Kampala Queens FC’s technical team for the growth of football in the country.

KCCA FC will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup after finishing second on the table in the concluded 2022/23 season.
