Game week two of the third edition of the Uganda Boxing Champions League lived to it’s billing with two knockouts witnessed on the night.
The thrilling boxing event over the weekend at the New Club Obligato in Kampala featured 20 fights with two ending prematurely.
Arafat Kibirige who was trailing by the third round knocked out SFC’s Moses Mayende to send the crowd in crazy celebrations. The send stop of the night saw Samuel Ochieng defeat Shafik Ssentamu.
Away from the stops, the main fight between lightweight boxers Ibrahim Kemis of Mutajazzi Boxing club and Brian Ssekyejwe (Kololo) was a one sided affair.
Full of confidence Kemis disrespected and outboxed his opponent hence bagging a 4-1 split score victory in the Elite 57Kgs.
Still about the fights that had fans cheering out loud, a female bout between Zebra Boxing Club’s Jalia Nali and Brenda Muduwa, and the one between Richard Kasujja and Alex Kanabi.
The exchanges and punch combinations in these two bouts were outstanding. The Elite Bantamweight clash ended 4:1 in favor of Nali, the same score Kasujja also registered.
