Uganda Premier League returnees, Kyetume FC have been pushed out of the top-tier for failure on Club Licensing regulations.

According to the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), Kyetume failed to register even one player on the Connect System, prompting relegation to the Regional League.

The deadline had been Friday, August 12, 2022 which they apparently failed to beat, but can at least appeal the decision.

The Club top honchos have since admitted to the non-fulfillment.
“Our issues have been with passports of the players,” Martin Namugera, the Club CEO admitted via Sportsnation.

Kyetume finished third in the 2021/22 FUFA Big League to get an automatic ticket to the top-tier, at the expense of Kataka FC.
