Ugandan coach Hussein Mbalangu has been shown the exit by Somali outfit Mogadishu FC, after only four months in charge.

The former Arua Hill SC tactician was handed the job in April, signing a two-year contract, but four months later, he is set for a return to his native country.

“The management of the club had an emergency meeting about the downfall of the club,” Mogadishu said in a statement off their website.

“The administration sat after consecutive defeats and has questioned the cause of the situation. Finally, the administration agreed on August 23 to end the first coach Hussein Mbalangu’s contract at the club.”

The ex Mbarara City FC coach has had an abysmal start to the 2022/23 season, losing four of the first five league games, with a point off Horseed in a 2-2 draw the only point in his brief tenure.
