Workaholic midfielder Ssali Musa has completed his move to Arua Hill SC from league champions Vipers SC.

The 23-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Kongolo on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Ssali was not licensed at Vipers SC last season and he was eager to find a new club where he could get regular playing time.

He is a versatile midfielder who can play in a number of positions, including central midfield, defensive midfield, and right midfield.

The tackler has a wealth of experience, having played in the 2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup finals when Vipers thrashed BUL FC 8-1 to win the historical title, coming on as a substitute to replace Paul Willa.

The St Mary’s Kitende gradute also played in the finals of 2019 Post primaries when Kitende edged Jinja SS 3-1 to win their 9th championship.

Last season Arua Hill SC finished fourth with 44 points behind champions Vipers SC, KCCA FC and SC Villa.

They will be looking to improve on that finish in the upcoming season, and Ssali’s arrival will certainly boost their chances.

The midfielder is expected to make his Arua Hill SC debut in the FUFA Super 8 tournament, which will be played between August 4 and 18, 2023.
