Rines SS WFC have completed the signing of right back Florence Nazizi Nalumansi from Lady Doves. The speedy defender has signed a two-year contract to join the Bright Nyanzi coached side.
Naziz left Kawempe Muslim Ladies and joined the 2020/21 league winners Lady Doves at the start of last season. After one season, Nazizi joins another new club.
Last season, Rines SS WFC finished 6th on the table of 10 teams with 21 points collected from 18 FUFA Women Super League games.
It is believed that Rines SS WFC will add more new players and also promote junior players to the senior team to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Nazizi will compete for a first-team position with Catherine Wujja, who has been one of Rines SS WFC’s best performers in the last two topflight seasons.
In 2019, defender Florence Nazizi Nalumansi was named in the best FUFA Women Elite League (Now FUFA Women Super League) team of the season.
The move is seen as a boost for Rines SS WFC, who are looking to improve on their 6th place finish last season.
Nazizi is a talented defender who will add strength and depth to the Rines SS WFC squad.
