URA FC suffered their second defeat at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi after going down 3-2 at the hands of Maroons FC in the Uganda Premier League on Saturday.
URA head coach Sam Timbe was left frustrated by the inability of his players to show fight and hunger, which the opposite team exhibited.
“We didn’t play with hunger, we dint show reason to win, and we kept passing the ball back which i didn’t understand,” said Timbe to the media after the loss.
“All credit to Maroons, they used their chances well while on our side, that didn’t happen,” the tactician moaned.
URA had been on a five-game unbeaten run, but the Prison Warders had none of it as they took all points, to lift themselves to sixth with 33 points.
Ibrahim Dada‘s brace for the Tax Collectors didn’t quite serve enough for a win, as they stayed fourth with 34 points.
On the other hand, Abel Etrude, Darius Ojok and Allan Tusubira did just enough damage to walk home with smiling faces.
While URA will visit strugglers Blacks Power FC in Lira on Wednesday in their subsequent encounter, Maroons will be hosting leaders SC Villa at the Prison Grounds, Luzira.
