KCCA FC interim head coach Jackson Mayanja continued his usual trumpeter self, as he re-echoed his exact reason for his appointment.

The Kasasiro Boys edged Gaddafi FC in the Uganda Premier League on Saturday at Kakindu Stadium, to stay second (44 points) and within two points of leaders SC Villa, who have played two games more.

Mayanja spoke loud asserting he wants the trophy and that KCCA has to win all the remaining games.

“As I said I have come here to take this Cup,” he said in poseur, to the media after the victory.

“I want to knock one by one because it is very important to win every game that is remaining if we want to win the championship. I always want to win,” he added with a pompous assertion.

Julius Poloto came off the bench to net the all-important goal that could prove pivotal in the title run.

“It was seven but one down, remaining six and if we can do this for the next three games then, we’ll have a picture of where we’re going.”

KCCA will be back in action against relegation-bound Onduparaka FC on Tuesday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

On the same day, 10th-placed Gaddafi, who are on 29 points will be back, away to wounded Vipers SC at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
