When the action of the 2026 Uganda Volleyball National Club Championship shifted from the Uganda Christian University courts to the Yes Centre Sports Arena in Nsambya, Sport-S seized full control.
Playing on home soil at the Yes Centre, both the Sport-S men’s and women’s teams capitalized on the opportunity, winning both categories in style and dropping just a single set across both finals.
In the men’s final, Sport-S eased past KCCA 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-22) to claim their ninth National Club Championship title.
Earlier, in the women’s category, the Sport-S women’s team achieved their first-ever National Club Championship title by overcoming Nkumba in a hard-fought final.
After dropping the opening set 22-25, they dug deep to win the next three sets (25-15, 26-24, 25-22), completing an impressive comeback to secure the crown.
By winning the national titles, both Sport-S teams have earned qualification to represent Uganda at the upcoming African Volleyball Club Championship.
