League Breaks and National Team Preparations:

The UPL season will feature some breaks in between to accommodate other significant football events, including the Uganda Cup, FUFA Drum, and international fixtures such as the FIFA International Window.

This scheduling will allow teams and players to focus on these competitions while ensuring that the UPL continues to run smoothly.

Moreover, the early conclusion of the season is in line with national team needs, particularly for Uganda’s FIFA Club World Cup Qualifiers and preparations for the rescheduled 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).

These activities will take priority after the conclusion of the league, providing a well-rounded football calendar for Ugandan football enthusiasts.

With the second round now set in stone, football fans across Uganda can look forward to an exciting end to the season, as clubs battle for supremacy in one of the most competitive leagues in East Africa.
