Ekbad is the latest in a line of new signings for Vipers, who have also brought in Rodriguez, Luiz Otavio alias Tinga, Richard Matovu, David Bagoole, Grant Matsiko and Paul Patrick Mbowa this summer.

The striker is expected to provide stiff competition for places in the Vipers forward line, which already includes stars like Cromwel Rwothomio, Yunus Sentamu, Karim Ndugwa, Desire Tety, Abubakar Lawal, Giancarlo Rodriguez and others.

Ekbad’s arrival is a major coup for Vipers, who are looking to defend their Uganda Premier League title and compete for the CAF Champions League next season.
