12 Uganda Premier League clubs have up to Sunday to enter the good books of the FUFA Club Licensing Committee ahead of the start of the new season.

Majority of the top tier clubs are yet to submit all the club licensing mandatory requirements with the deadline fast approaching.

“Only four clubs namely; Vipers SC, Wakiso Giants FC, KCCA FC and Bul FC have complied, after submitting and fulfilling the Club Licensing requirements for 2022/23 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season,” FUFA shared on it’s verified Twitter account.

Final books of accounts, Team Doctor, Club CEO contract and head coach are some of the hurdles that the said clubs have failed to jump over.

Rules have it that non-compliance may cost clubs a license to participate in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2022/2023 season.

With clubs such as Bright Stars, SC Villa, Express FC and Busoga United with internal fights, chances of not respecting the deadline are high.

The new season of the Uganda Premier League 2022/23 is set to kickoff on 30th September 2022.
