Apart from Morocco and Comoros, Group A also holds Mali who have played the most games at the tournament (54) and 2012 AFCON winners Zambia.
The hosts will head into their 20th appearance in the tournament, the national team, led by coach Walid Regragui, is riding high on the momentum of their impressive FIFA World Cup semi-final run.
The team is determined to end their 49-year continental title drought, having last lifted the AFCON trophy in 1976 during the competition held in Ethiopia.
Another group to look out for has 3-time winners and defending Champions Cote D’ Ivore, 5-time winners Cameroon, Gabon and Mozambique.
