Former KCCA FC marksman Sadat Anaku came off the bench for his debut at Dundee United, as his side beat Livingstone FC 2-1 in the Scottish League Cup on Wednesday night.
It was the first victory for Anaku’s new side in all competitions for the 2022/23 campaign.
The 21 year old came on in the 83rd minute for veteran forward Steven Fletcher, with the score already at 2-1.
Anaku will be keen on making his mark with Dundee even more, especially because it is just the start of a two-year contract.
Meanwhile, the victory pushed Dundee to the Cup quarterfinals, where they will face Kilmarnock FC in October this year.
However, Anaku’s immediate focus will turn to the Scottish Premiership, where his side will take on countryman, Bevis Mugabi‘s Motherwell FC.
