Former Soltilo Bright Stars FC head coach Asaph Mwebaze is set to take over at Mbale Heroes FC in a similar role, starting next season.
Mwebaze, a CAF B license holder, has been in negotiations with the Surgeons for weeks now, and an agreement has been reached. The official announcement is pending.
The tactician was in the stands at Mbale Stadium on Wednesday as BUL FC beat Mbale Heroes 1-0 in a preseason friendly match.
Mwebaze is expected to bring his wealth of experience to Mbale Heroes, having previously coached Maroons FC, Onduparaka FC, and Nyamityobora FC.
He is also known for guiding Maroons FC to UPL promotion on three occasions, in 2007, 2010 and 2015.
