On April 23, Bika Bya Baganda 2026 football tournament group stage draws were held successfully at Kooti ya Kisekwa in Bulange ahead of Kickoff on May 2 at Wankulukuku Muteesa 2 stadium.
With 41 clans confirmed their participation, all the last season’s quarterfinalists have been elected to this year’s round of 16 as teams from position 9 to 41 being placed in 8 groups with only the group winner advancing to the knockout stage.
The 2019 Champions of Mboga was drawn in group B along with the 2023 Champions of Ngonge as the only powerhouses in the group which also has new returnee Nswaswa and Nkusu.
The other group to pull sights became group H where Olulyo Olulangira, Nakinsige, assigned Hajji Rajab Ssebulime who managed Buwekula to the first Masaza cup final on the same committee with Buddu Ssaza Manager Steven Zziwa.
The group also has Ngaali the Clan for Minister of Youth Sports and Arts in Buganda Robert Sserwanga while Ntalaganya and Nkula complete the group.
