On pure fuels from team manager Hajji Ssebulime Rajab, Nakinsige continues turning from misery, dominating Ngaali 3-0 as they step toward progressing to the round of 16.

CATIDA FC’s Tevin Kyeyune scored the opener, Bul FC’s Lawrence Kambugu doubled the lead in the first stanza, and Express FC’s Mikdad Ssenyonga sealed the win midway through the second half.

In the game played in the mid-morning on Friday, May 15, at Lubiri SS, the Eric Kisuze-coached side collected a second successive win to keep themselves on maximum points: 6 in two games.

In the first game played on May 3, Nakinsige defeated Ntalaganya 2-0. With the two wins, Nakinsige only has to avoid a defeat against Olulyo Olulangira in the final group game on Sunday, May 17.

Olulyo Olulangira, in their second game, defeated Ntalaganya 5-0, and they were held 3-3 by Ngaali in the first game, tallying 4 points, just two behind leaders Nakinsige.

With Nakinsige in prime position to progress to the round of 16 by topping the group, Haaji Ssebulime boosted the camp with an amount around 3,000,000/=, adding to a figure believed to be 2,000,000/= he released on the first game.
