Arua Hill SC defender Bright Vuni has confirmed his exit, ending his marriage with the West Nile powerhouse.

Vuni has announced his departure from Barifa Stadium after two years following the expiry of his contract.

“Today I say goodbye to a magnificent club as it is Arua Hill SC,” the defender started as he bade farewell via his social media platforms, on Friday.

“I want to thank the club for helping me become a better footballer and for making me feel at home during my time here.”

“After this year, I can only say thank you to the club, to the fans that have supported me since the first day I wore this jersey and of course thank you and good luck to my teammates…” he added.

The versatile defender joined Arua Hill from UPDF in 2021, forming a formidable partnership with captain, Rashid Toha.

Overall over the past two seasons, Vuni has played 32 times for Arua Hill, scoring two goals in the process.

Last season, he only featured 12 times as was forced on the sidelines with multiple injury setbacks
