Ahead of their second leg encounter with Future FC, in the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, BUL FC made an early flight to Egypt via Ethiopia.
The Oil Manufacturers will take on the Egyptians in the second leg on September 17, following a barren stalemate in the first at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Head Coach Alex Isabirye named a 20-man traveling team, albeit, with midfielder George Kasonko missing.
The club has however not made any communication regarding the Uganda Cranes player’s absence.
But, unconfirmed reports have it that Kasonko’s traveling documents and the records in CAF system do not match.
The rest of the squad that got involved in Kitende bout has made the trip, with one mission at hand, avoiding defeat at all costs.
The victor on aggregate will progress to the second round of the preliminaries where the winner between Borgou (Benin) and Kallon FC ( Sierra Leone) awaits.
