FUFA Big League side Jinja North United FC are in final touches of securing the signature of Hassan Zungu as their new Head Coach.
According to information from the Eastern part of the country, the former Gaddafi FC tactician has agreed terms with Jinja North.
This will see him leave his coaching role as the first assistant at Gaddafi. Zungu was the second assistant at the army-affiliated side in the first round of the 2022/23 season.
He was then promoted to the rank of the first assistant till the end of the season following the departure of George Lutalo to Kitara FC.
Jinja North finished 10th in the 2022/23 FUFA Big League season with 39 points, 7 above the relegation zone.
The tactician also once deputized Abbey Kikomeko at Busoga United before guiding Gaddafi to Uganda Premier League promotion in 2021.
