Shehzad tore into the Soroti attack with 56 off just 28 balls, striking 12 boundaries, while Kamran added 31 from 25 deliveries as the pair gave their side early control of the match.

Although Soroti pulled things back in the middle overs through Juma Sururu and Stephen Okiror, Ismaili’s lower order kept the scoreboard moving. Ghulam Hunzai made 27, Junaid Khan added 22 and Ali Dishan chipped in with 29 to push the total past 230.

Sururu and Okiror picked up three wickets each for Soroti City.

In reply, Soroti’s chase fell apart almost immediately. They lost four wickets for just 16 runs inside seven overs as Ismaili’s bowlers took full control.

Junaid Khan led the attack with four wickets, while Kashan Yar Baig struck twice early to leave Soroti struggling.

Twijukye Emma made 28 and Bakunzi Derrick fought back with a quick 54 off 40 balls, but the target had already drifted too far away.
