Sunday’s games are pivotal for the title hopes of both KIU teams in their race to turn their fate and stay alive in the fight.
The KIU Rangers, despite winning game 1, have lost three on the bounce against the 2021 Champions, JKL Dolphins, and face an uphill task to claim game 5 on Sunday and push the series longer.
Game 1 was a blemish in the record the Dolphins had mastered, not going behind in any series, but a blunt bench condemned them to the loss.
They have since worked out those kinks and having the services of the evergreen Oketcho “Flirsh” Flavia has since helped a lot.
KIU will need Perus Nyamwenge to have another monster game on Sunday if the Kansanga side wants to push the series into game 6.
For the men, KIU Titans are hoping against hope that they can upset the 8-time champions, City Oilers.
KIU Titans had a huge game 3, condemning the Oilers to their first preseason loss but if anything in game four is to go by, the Titans don’t have enough gusto in their punch to dent the Oilers ascension to cloud nine.
