On Sunday, June 21, 2026, at FUFA Stadium, Kadiba, Kampala Queens FC stunned Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC 2-0 to win their first ever FUFA Women’s Cup title.

It was their first FUFA Women’s Cup final and they made it count. Kawempe came in as favorites, fresh from winning the 2025/26 season of the FUFA Women Super League and chasing a rare domestic double. But Kampala Queens had other plans.

The game started tight, but Kampala Queens looked more settled. They pressed early, moved the ball better, and took control of key moments. Their reward came in the first half when they broke the deadlock and went into halftime 1-0 up.

After the break, Kawempe Muslim pushed hard. They threw players forward, searching for an equaliser, but that aggression left gaps at the back.
