Ex-Uganda Cranes defender Richard Kasagga has sealed a move to Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi Soccer Club.
Kasagga, who signed a two-year contract in Libya, has recently traded with Tunisian outfit Olympique de Beja since 2022.

Al Ahly are gearing for the CAF Champions League and are bolstering their ranks, for a strong show.
For the continental clubs’ showpiece, they will play Nigerian powerhouse Enyimba Football Club in the first preliminary round.
Kasagga has previously played for Kira Young (2013-2014), Salam Zgharta (2014-2016) in Lebanon and KCCA FC in 2016.
He also featured for URA FC for a year between 2017 to 2018 as well as Indian side Aizawl between 2018 to 2021.
Kasagga is a versatile player who can play at both left back and center back. He is also a strong tackler and has a good passing range.
On the other hand, Al Ahly finished third in Group A of the regular season in the 2022/23 Libya Premier League, before finishing second in the championship round, to make the continent.
