Despite a final-day 2-0 stumble against Kiboga Central at their home ground, Kitete Playground, Kajjere United have won the Kiboga District 5th Division League. They topped the eight-team table with 24 points from 14 games.

Kajjere United secured the title thanks to a superior goal difference. Black Bullets finished in second place on the same number of points, but their seven-goal difference was one short of Kajjere United’s eight.

The champions were crowned on Saturday, June 6, and have already shifted their focus to qualifying for the regional league, the Buganda Region 4th Division.

They compete in the Wamala group, where they could potentially join fellow Kiboga District sides; Bamusuuta FC and Kiboga United, both of whom were recently relegated from the 3rd Division.

The promotional playoff will be contested in a home-and-away format against the Kyankwanzi District League champions, Kigando Kobs, who are expected to be officially crowned on Wednesday, June 10.
