Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC left back Jolly Kobusigye has reportedly rejected a juicy offer from Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC.

Kobusigye was also linked to Kampala Queens FC, but she has now agreed to sign a new contract with Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.

The former Tooro Queens FC defender was one of the standout players in the 2022/23 season, and her decision to stay with Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC is a major boost for the club.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC already loaned the trio of Shakirah Nyinagahirwa, Hadijah Nandago and Samalie Nakacwa to Kampala Queens FC on short term deals.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC are not ready to sell or loan more players, and all of their loaned players will return to the club after their contracts.

The club finished second on table behind league champions Kampala Queens FC last season, and they will be looking to go one step further in the 2023/24 season.
