KCCA makes a sweep, ushers in the new technical team

In the aftermath of the exit of Morley Byekwaso as head coach, KCCA FC have ushered in a whole new technical team that will oversee proceedings at least until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

Hours after losing 2-0 to URA FC in the Uganda Premier League on Wednesday, the club confirmed the appointment of Jackson Mayanja as head coach in the interim.

Mayanja, who is a club legend as a player, returns to Lugogo as head coach for a second spell, the first ended in 2005.

He has since had managerial stints at URA FC, Bunamwaya FC, Kagera FC, Kyetume FC, Simba SC, AS Kigali (deputy), Uganda Cranes (deputy), and the Uganda Hippos which is the country’s U-20.

Meanwhile, Badru Kaddu Mukasa, who was in charge of their game with URA, has been replaced by Charles ‘Kadiidi’ Ssenyange as deputy.

Saka Mpima has been appointed as the First Team Coach as well as the Junior Team head coach, taking over from Richard Malinga.
