Kisozi High School rocked back to edge Madina Islamic Nsangi out of the Wakiso Zone Netball Qualifiers for the USSSA Ball Games II, set for July 8–19 at Sacred Heart Gulu.

In the round of 16 clash, Madina Islamic Nsangi saw their journey cut short by rivals Kisozi High School.

At some point in the game played at Mwererwe grounds, Madina Islamic who had won the earlier tie 21–16 took an 11–7 lead. However, Kisozi High School rebuked their opponents’ strong performance, just as they had done in the Nsangi USSSA district final.

In the quarterfinals, Kisozi High School will battle powerhouse Kawanda SS on Friday morning, June 19, ahead of the semifinals and final later in the evening.

In other intense round of 16 fixtures, Green Light Islamic struggled past Merryland 17–13, defending champions Buddo SS comfortably defeated Mehan 32–12, while St Mary’s Kitende overwhelmed Emirates College Nkoowe 45–10.
