- Rines SS 3-0 Boni Consilii
After years of reaching the latter stages without lifting the trophy, Rines Secondary School finally ended their wait by winning their maiden USSSA Girls’ Football National Championship with a commanding 3-0 victory over Boni Consilii.
Having reached multiple semifinals and fallen to Kawempe Muslim in the 2024 final, Rines made no mistake this time, producing a dominant performance in the final played at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakisha, Wakiso.
Coached by Bright Nyanzi and Isma Mukiibi, Rines were the better side from the opening whistle and created several chances before eventually breaking the deadlock.
Nakato Patricia Nanyanzi converted from the penalty spot after Justine Ayerango was brought down inside the box, giving Rines a deserved halftime lead.
Boni Consili returned for the second half looking complacent, allowing Rines to score twice within the opening 11 minutes after the restart.

Trina Nakawuki doubled the lead in the fifth minute of the second half, calmly finishing a teasing low cross from the skillful Zuena Nandego to make it 2-0.
Six minutes later, Ayerango wrapped up the victory with a simple tap-in, sealing an emphatic triumph for the Wakiso Zone representatives.
The tournament, which began in Mukono with 64 teams, was initially abandoned before the semifinal stage before resuming in Wakisha on July 2.
On their way to the title, Rines eliminated former champions Amus College 3-0 in a penalty shootout, while Boni Consili knocked out defending champions St. Noa Girls to reach the final.

All four semifinalists had already secured qualification for the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Associations (FEASSSA) Games, which will be held later this year in Morogoro, Tanzania.
