Buddu enjoyed the greater share of possession and dominated large periods of the match, but Kyaddondo remained organized and disciplined to deny them clear scoring opportunities.

Having taken their chance in front of goal, the visitors defended resolutely against all odds to protect their advantage until the final whistle, playing in front of a buzzing, colorful crowd (read Twaake).

Despite the setback, Buddu remain top of the table with 17 points and will have an opportunity to bounce back when they face Buwekula in their next fixture on Sunday.

Following the victory, Kyaddondo Ssaza Chairman Nicholas Lubwama, popularly known as “Yesu Afaayo,” gave his players a token of appreciation for the big win.

Lubwama doubled the players’ allowances as a reward for the team’s commitment and determination in securing a valuable away victory at a difficult ground.

With confidence now high, Kyaddondo will turn their attention to Busujju on Sunday, when they return to their home ground at St. Noah Wampeewo Playground.
