In the creative role, Key players simply shall remain Ronnie Ziraba, Yosam, and Ssembalirwa P, while behind them, Geofrey Ssenyonga and Savior  Mungujakisa are also expected to play a big role in the season.

In the defence, Kyaggwe stayed safer by keeping Godfrey Alijore, Vincent Agaku, Julius Kato, Emmanuel Shikanga, young prospect Stuart Miiro, and new crops in Samuel Monday Kisozi from Kyadondo; teenager Tony Ssengendo was also recruited.

In goalkeeping, they unveiled last season’s best goalkeeper, Joel Byamukama, whom they signed from Ssingo, and as well they kept their first choice goalie for the past two seasons, Peter Katongole Dhaira.

Kyaggwe in the past two seasons has commanded their existence by reaching the final in 2024 when they lost to Buddu in Namboole, and last season they finished third as the humbled Bugerere at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo War Memorial.

Kyaggwe is in the group of death along with the biggest teams in the tournament, including record holders Gomba Lions, three-time champions Bulemeezi, and Mawokota, while Busiro is the other team with a trophy, living Kyaggwe and Ssese as the only teams without a trophy in the group.
