UPDF Tomahawks will curse their sloppiness as they lost 62-58 to the KCCA Panthers in the National Basketball League on Wednesday at the MTN Arena Lugogo.

The Army side was in an assured lead for the biggest part of the game before the Panthers powered back to glide to victory.

UPDF was all-over the Panthers in the opening quarter, winning it by a dominant 15-4 difference.

However, the Panthers kept the spirit and character, didn’t give up, and fought harder before they cut the gap to eight by halftime, with UPDF now in a 31-23 lead.

KCCA took the third quarter and had cut the gap to just three points (48-45) headed into the final quarter before they eventually took the evening.

Daniel Gaaki was KCCA’s star of the evening, as his all-round performance inspired the comeback. He managed 08 points, 04 rebounds, and 06 blocks.
