The stage is set for an electrifying showdown as hosts Ngora High School prepare to take on the defending champions, St Julian School–Seeta, in the Round of 32 of the National Schools Football Championship.
The much-anticipated fixture will kick off tomorrow, Saturday, May 10, headlining a packed schedule of knockout matches.
Ngora High School, riding on the energy of home support, managed to secure 6 points from three group-stage matches, winning two and losing one to finish second in Group B.
Their journey so far has been powered by the spirited performances of key players Ekot Eluid, Ocokan Emmanuel and Ali Kiyinji, whose efforts will be crucial if they are to pull off an upset against the title holders.
On the other side of the pitch, St Julian have shown no signs of loosening their grip on the crown.
They stormed through the group stages with a flawless record, securing all 9 points. Their attacking firepower has been evident, spearheaded by Disan Mwebe, one of the tournament’s top scorers with three goals to his name.
The pressure will be on him to continue delivering as St Julian chase back-to-back titles.
