The 2024/25 Uganda Volleyball men’s and women’s leagues return this weekend with six fixtures scheduled at Nsambya Sport-S Grounds.
The action commences on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Nemo entertaining VVC in the Serie A Women’s category, followed by men’s matches.
After lunch at 2:00 PM, Nemo Stars will face Police, and the day will conclude with Kampala boys (KCCA) playing Warders, Prisons.
On Sunday, two women’s games and one men’s match will take place, starting at 11:00 AM. Women’s table leaders KCCA will face Elyon in the first match.
Next on the menu will be a university rivalry between the female defending champions Nkumba (19 points) and Uganda Christian University Mukono at 2:00 PM.
In this third and fifth-placed matchup, UCU will strive to surpass another university side, Ndejje (17 points), currently occupying fourth place with a one-point advantage.
The final encounter of the weekend will see the men defending champions Sport-S who are currently leading the table with 26 points, face Sky at 4:00 PM.
Nemo sits in second place with 20 points, followed by KCCA and KAVC-A, both on 18 points. UCU occupies fifth place with 15 points.
