Former KCCA FC left-back Ibrahim Juma has finally been unveiled as new Club Deportivo Leganes player, on loan from the 13-time Uganda Premier League champions.
The youngster, whose deal to the Spanish second tier club was due for September 2022, stalled due to niggles in the player’s paperwork.
Following the unveiling on Monday, Leganes made it public knowledge the versatile defender would straight away head to their development side for his continued growth.
Juma is a former KCCA U-17 and Uganda U-17 skipper and was also part of his former club’s successful U-20 expeditions in the 2022 Cambiasso and Rainbow U-20 tournaments in Tanzania.
He is also a full Uganda Cranes (the senior team) international as he featured in the 2022 African Nations Championships (CHAN) qualification campaign.
CD Leganes is a football club based in Leganes, Community of Madrid, Spain and currently competes in the Segunda Division (second-tier).
