Following a brilliant November, Soltilo Bright Stars’ forward Nelson Senkatuka has been rewarded with a Player of the Month gong in the Pilsner Awards.
The forward scored five goals and managed one assist, while he was named man of the match on three occasions in a month to remember.
The former KCCA FC striker netted and made an assist against Onduparaka FC, and bagged a brace against each of Express FC and BUL FC.
Senkatuka fended off opposition from Wakiso Giants FC’s Ibrahim Owen Kasule ‘Baba’ and Gaddafi FC’s forward Alex Kitata to win the award.
His goals were responsible for nine points as the Mwererwe based outfit overcame a sloppy start to turn their Uganda Premier League season around.
After going seven matches without a win, managing five draws and losing twice, they won three matches in November. Currently they occupy eighth on the 15-team log with 17 points in 11 matches.
