The Queen Cranes squad is set, and the journey to Ghana begins with quiet belief and a clear sense of purpose.
Head coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda has named a 20-player team to face the Black Princesses in the first leg of the final qualifying round for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The match will be played on Sunday at Accra Sports Stadium.
The traveling squad, which departs on Friday morning, includes two goalkeepers, seven defenders, nine midfielders, and two forwards, offering balance across the pitch as Uganda prepares for a tough away test.

The return leg is set for next Saturday at FUFA Stadium Kadiba, where the winner on aggregate will secure a place at the 2027 tournament in Poland.
Uganda faces a stern challenge. Ghana has reached the World Cup at this level in each of the last seven editions, bringing experience and pedigree into the tie.
