There were no miracles for the Ravens on Wednesday evening as the KIU Rangers blew past the Miracles Ravens to win 75-50.
The KIU Rangers became the first women’s team to reach the semifinals of this year’s National Basketball League behind massive games from the player of the match Amaniyo Mary, Ines Kanyamuneza and Sharon Kirabo.
Ms Amaniyo Mary notched a 20 points, 20 rebounds double-double, supplemented by 2 steals.
Ines balled out with 14 points, 6 assists, 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Sharon got her piece of the pie, accruing 15 points and 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, in the men’s category, Ndejje University Angels recovered from a slow start to win 68-64 against Our Savior to draw the series 1-1 and force a do-or-die game this weekend.
