Proline FC midfielder Hakim Kiwanuka is reportedly set to jet out of the country for trials in France’s top flight league, the French League 1.
As per NBS Sport, Kiwanuka will be tried out at two teams (names unidentified for purposes of not sabotaging the deal) in France’s top-tier division.
The aforementioned news was confirmed by Proline Director, Mujib Kasule while appearing on NBS Sport this Tuesday Morning.
Kasule also noted that over 12 players will be leaving the club because they deserve to play in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
For starters, Proline was relegated from the SUPL in the 2020/21 season and a season later it has gone from bad to worse given that they were demoted from the FUFA Big League to the Regional League.
Kiwanuka, Noordin Bunjo, and Brian Mato are some of the players that will not be playing Regional League football with Proline as they will seek greener pastures.
As Kiwanuka prepares to do trials in France, SC Villa is closely monitoring Bunjo’s situation at Proline.
