Invincible JKL Dolphins are locked in a meeting with giants UCU Lady Canons in a National Basketball League thriller on Friday at Lugogo.
The Dolphins won all their nine games in the first round. This followed their five victories before Covid-19 forced halting of the previous campaign.
In the first round, they beat the Canons 70-49 at YMCA but the Mukono side will be keen on mounting revenge.
Dolphins last tasted defeat in a mouthwatering 68-61 encounter against UCU in the 2019 NBL final playoffs game five. JKL went on to win the next two to seal their second title.
UCU looks to be the best suited side to stop JKL this season and with experienced Nicholas Natuhereza as their coach, it is a possible mission.
They will be out to improve on their season record so far of nine wins and three loses courtesy of JKL, Angels and KCCA.
