Ugandan U20 national team and Kataka FC forward Emmanuel Mukisa will further his studies and football career in the US.

The 20-year-old striker is reportedly set to join Eastern Florida State College and follows former SC Villa attacker Goffin Oyirwoth in the US who plays for Bethel University, in Minnesota.

Mukisa is a product of the Amus College football team and has also been a key figure for Bugisu Province in the ongoing FUFA Drum.

He was part of the Uganda Hippos team that reached the quarterfinals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. Hippos also clinched the CECAFA Zonal Qualification trophy in Sudan last year.

Mukisa’s move to the US is a major boost for his career and he will be hoping to continue his development at Bethel University.
