Jinja-based outfit Gaddafi FC were comfortable 3-1 winners over Blacks Power FC, as they extended their home unbeaten run in the Uganda Premier League this campaign.

The Sunday result meant the army side has not lost a single home game this season in the six matches played thus far at Kakindu Stadium.

The Wasswa Bbosa coached side has managed four victories (on the bounce) and two stalemates at home turf.

In the Sunday encounter, Brian Kalumba opened the scoring at the stroke of halftime with a well taken strike past goalkeeper Emmanuel Odongo.

Four minutes after the restart, youngster Elvis Ngondwe doubled the hosts lead before Shafik Bakaki made it three, two minutes later.

The guests found some lifeline through a superbly struck Ronald Musana freekick in the 59th minute, but it wasn’t quite enough to avoid defeat.

Gaddafi, who now occupy sixth with 18 points, will return to action against UPDF at the Bombo Military Barracks Grounds on 14th of December.

On the other hand, Blacks Power, who are 12th with nine points, will be home at the Aki Bua Stadium against bottom side Onduparaka FC two days earlier.
